2019 was an important year for Girls on Track Foundation. We finalized our business organization and got to work on the real goal of the foundation: funding junior programs! We learned a lot in the process, and were able to raise money and get lots of great gear for two very worthy programs.

Albany Roller Derby started its Act -Belong-Commit Skate Like A Girl junior roller skating skills program in 2018 with help from Healthway, a Western Australian sports promotion program.  Albany coaches anticipated their new 2019 Skate Like a Girl program could reach another 100 girls. Albany requested assistance with gear and venue costs. Our supporters helped us raise $5,424 in cash and gear towards the $9,400 Albany requested!

No Coast Junior Derby works with a Nebraska Group Home to involve their girls in the empowering experience of their roller derby boot camps! They requested help to provide full scholarships for ten kids in the group home, and 50% scholarships for ten local families to attend their programs, as well. They also hoped to build a loaner gear library to allow more junior skaters to participate.

Girls on Track was able to help them raise $2,160 of the $4,285 they requested in gear and cash!
